This hotel is located on the river and offers a great view of the flooded river and the lit-up bridge with an American flag. It is also conveniently located close to restaurants on Broad street and locally owned boutiques. The rooms are clean and nicely designed, with comfortable beds and pillows. The breakfast room is a nice size and offers a variety of options, including a waffle maker. The staff is friendly and accommodating, allowing early check-in and providing a wheelchair for a guest who had surgery.

The TV in one of the bedrooms did not work and the staff did not address the issue.

Reservation was changed from queen to king room. Front end staff were friendly and helpful. Switched to quieter room. Comfy beds for a great night's rest. Breakfast no longer included, but previous quality was memorable. Some staff displayed exceptional service.

The Hawthorne was a beautiful hotel with a great location to shops, dining, and Barron Stadium events. The old charm feel and architecture added to the overall experience. The bed was comfortable, making for a peaceful stay. The professional staff was attentive and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast option was greatly appreciated. No additional fees for parking were a bonus. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

My room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the river. The renovated factory building had beautiful internal brick walls and gorgeous old wood floors.
