Christmas at this inn was a delight! the front desk clerk/owner was really helpful and gave us great tips for exploring the area. the location couldn't have been better - right around the corner from everything. And listening to the water at night was so soothing. the accommodations were clean and updated, adding to the overall cozy and festive atmosphere.

There were a couple of minor inconveniences during our stay. the shower curtain was too short, resulting in water getting all over the floor.

We stayed at a quaint woodsy hotel for a few nights and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The staff were incredibly friendly and the small town had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room had great amenities like a fridge, microwave, and DVD player with a DVD library in the office. The location was perfect, close to where we wanted to be, and right across the street from a stunning waterfall.

One downside was the noise from the nearby highway, which was quite noticeable at times. Another negative point was that the hotel did not offer breakfast and there were limited dining options in the area on a Sunday in February.

As women traveling alone, we loved the easily accessible location and breathtaking views from the front porch. The room had an information brochure and binoculars, which were a nice touch. Mac, the host, made us feel welcome and at home.

The hotel is nestled in the mountains, providing us with breathtaking views. Plus, everything was extremely clean and well-maintained. I had a wonderful and comfortable stay at Hickory Falls Inn! The convenience to the sightseeing spots was great and the room was clean with a great overall look. The customer service provided was excellent. The complimentary coffee and light items served each morning were a lovely touch.
