Spent the day at the Baseball Hall of Fame and then drove up the road to the Hickory Grove Motor Inn. We were warmly greeted upon arrival, provided brief instructions about the continental breakfast then shown how to get to the lake. Our room was comfortable, clean and featured a fridge and writing table with padded chairs. Although we stayed during the fall colors time it's easy to see why it would also be a great place during the warmer summer months. Staff was friendly, addressed issues immediately, room was cleaned each day even though we didn't request that on a daily basis, nice view of the lake, quiet location.

During our Christmas stay, we really enjoyed the cleanliness and adequate facilities of the hotel. the rooms were spacious and had comfortable beds, along with a sofa for extra seating. the presence of a mini-fridge and microwave oven was also a convenience. Additionally, the hotel's location offered beautiful views of the lake, making our stay even more enjoyable.

There were a few aspects that we were not completely satisfied with. the shower stalls were cramped, which made showering a bit uncomfortable.
