We love the location, as it is just a short walk to the beach and nearby shops. The amenities are excellent, particularly the fully stocked kitchen in our cottage, which featured an Instant Pot and waffle maker that made cooking a breeze.

The only downside was the lack of luggage storage for early arrivals.

I recently enjoyed my stay at Hillcrest Inn, where the welcoming staff provided warm and timely service. The spacious room featured a kitchenette, allowing me to prepare my own meals, and I also appreciated the delightful selection of complimentary snacks like cookies and popcorn. Its charming location was just a short walk from the beach, and I felt like I was in a home away from home. This cozy atmosphere truly made my experience delightful.

Now, I’ll give a cheeky shout-out to the laminated wooden floors—they could’ve used a bit more TLC. Just a minor hiccup in an otherwise lovely stay.

Rooms are spacious, with comfortable double queen beds and a small LCD TV. The location is relatively quiet, making it a decent spot for some rest after a day of adventures.

While the hotel offers decent amenities like a spa and sauna, the parking situation is a bit tricky since most spots are on the street and can be hard to come by. The heating system had some issues, like when the downstairs heating made it feel a bit too hot upstairs, and the overall exterior of the building could use some maintenance. I also noticed that the carpet quality was low, and the bathroom sink didn’t drain well. These details detracted somewhat from an otherwise pleasant stay, leaving me with mixed feelings.

Our queen room was dog-friendly and spacious, with a lovely charm. Plenty of community games and snacks available, and just a short stroll to the beach. It had a cozy vibe that felt like home away from home.

However, our curtains played hide and seek and the outdoor noise made it feel like a dog park by night. Not quite a restful slumber when you're dodging bright lights!
