Had an epic breakfast that filled me with local flavors—shoutout to the chef for that heavenly meal! Also, the front desk service was on point, making check-in a breeze. The cozy atmosphere really set the tone for a delightful stay!

But the property felt a bit tired. It's got that 'old charm' we often see before a changeover—caught a mildew whiff in the bathroom and faced a chilly reception at the coffee station. Still, for the price, I can't complain too much.

From my arrival, the welcoming atmosphere was clear, especially when Jane at the bar made me feel right at home with her engaging personality. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, featuring made-to-order omelets that added that special touch to my mornings. Plus, the proximity to shopping and dining made it a convenient and delightful stay!

Oh my gosh, the front desk lady was, like, super amazing! We asked for hot chocolate and she brought out, like, everything—mugs, spoons, the works! Totally not your average service. The vibe was cozy and chill, and the breakfast was fab too. Just loved it! So cool!

Our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Merrillville was like finding that extra slice of pizza at a party. The staff, like Jane, Gary, and Jesse, made us feel at home even when rain derailed our baseball plans. They entertained our kids and provided cookies. The room was immaculate, adding to the delightful atmosphere. I genuinely appreciate how the staff worked hard to make the rainy days fun. Ten stars if I could!

The kitchen staff is excellent, especially Jessie, the cook. Rooms feel a bit outdated.

King Room was super clean. The fitness center and laundry were a lifesaver during my busy trip.
