our honeymoon trip to la jolla was even better than last time. scripps inn blew us away with the breathtaking view of the pacific ocean from our patio. starting our mornings with coffee and the peaceful scenery was pure magic.

the hotel was absolutely gorgeous and exceeded my expectations. from the early check-in to the gracious owner and the breathtaking ocean views, every aspect of the stay was perfect. i will definitely be coming back for another vacation.

Lack of timely response for room supplies.

I recently stayed at a charming little beach house-style hotel in La Jolla for a few days. The general manager, Gary, was welcoming and friendly. The location was absolutely wonderful! Just a short walk away was a beautiful beach cove, perfect for relaxing walks. There was also a lovely grassy area where families could enjoy a picnic. Nearby, there were restaurants, a grocery store, and even a movie theater. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, with a decent-sized bathroom. it was a great stay in a scenic location.

I strongly recommend this hotel.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel right on the beach. The location is perfect, allowing easy access to kayaking, snorkeling, and viewing seals and sea lions. It's also conveniently situated just down Prospect St in this city, where you can find a variety of shops and restaurants. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff provided excellent service.

This hotel is worth every penny! Its location is perfect, right across from a beautiful beach, and shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The staff is friendly and attentive to detail. Rooms are cozy with multiple windows that offer water views and the queen pull out bed is an added bonus. Breakfast is basic but satisfying.

Additionally, the hotel's proximity to downtown and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego made exploring this city even more enjoyable.

The sitting area was comfortable, and I appreciated the in-room safe as well. There was also a dining table and garden furniture that I found very convenient. The rooms were nicely equipped with free toiletries, cookware/ kitchen utensils, and a flat-screen TV. Moreover, the beach access, sun terrace, and beach umbrellas were great facilities that made my stay even more enjoyable.
