I found that this hotel offered great value for money, with basic amenities, rooms with very quiet air conditioning, and breakfast included.

We stayed at the National Hotel for a weekend concert and had a wonderful experience. The hotel's online pictures matched the charming atmosphere on arrival. Although check-in time was 2 pm, they kindly let us check in early when our room was ready. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the hotel before the concert, with my Chicken Jerusalem and my husband's Shrimp dish being highlights. Room 2 was cozy and comfortable, and we had a great conversation with a housekeeper about the hotel's history. We will definitely be returning!

We had a fantastic weekend at this beautiful old west hotel! the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and special. the claw foot bathroom was marvelous and should not be overlooked during your stay. the in-house dining was a wonderful part of the experience and really made us feel like we were in the old west. the location was perfect for exploring the rail town in Jamestown and the nearby old town of Columbia, adding to the charm of our stay.

The overall location is not the best if you are more interested in exploring the high sierra. However, if you are looking to immerse yourself in the history of the area, the hotel's location is ideal.
