We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express in Hays. The staff, especially Teri, was amazing and provided excellent service. The room was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were great. The breakfast options were delicious, especially the single pre-packaged muffins and danish. We appreciated the helpful recommendations from the friendly front desk clerks. it was a great place to relax and recover from our long trip.

We stay annually on our way to Wyoming for Fall Break. The room was spacious, well laid out and comfortable. The bathroom was updated and well lit. The breakfast offering was broad and well presented, with hot and cold options for both of us. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was very quiet despite having many guests. The front desk attendant was speedy, efficient and pleasant. The hotel in general was nice and clean, with nice touches like bath and body lotion and other little things.

One of the downsides was the lack of upgrades and perks for IHG Elite members, especially for those paying for their room through Government or State Government rates. It was disappointing that they were not able to enjoy the benefits of their status, such as room upgrades or additional welcome amenity points.
