During my recent stay at Holiday Inn Express in McKinleyville, I had a relaxing and peaceful experience. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable medium-soft bed. The bathroom was well-maintained and stocked with J.R. Watkins amenities. I also enjoyed having a balcony with a view of the green grass backyard and parking lot. The noise insulation was excellent, ensuring a quiet and restful sleep. Additionally, the hotel staff were professionally trained and friendly, providing exceptional service. The complimentary breakfast buffet had a variety of options, satisfying every guest's needs. I appreciated the 24/7 availability of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby, as well as the fresh cookies in the evening. The location of the hotel in a business park was convenient, and the lobby area had an attractive and inviting decor.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was very clean upon arrival and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The curtains did a great job of blocking out all light, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep for us light sleepers. The hotel's location near the airport was also very convenient, and the shuttle service to and from the airport was a handy amenity. Additionally, the breakfast provided exceeded our expectations, offering a step up from typical hotel breakfast options.

This hotel was worth the price. The staff were great, the location was perfect for me - close to the airport, and just across the road from the great sea front. They even had bikes that guests could use which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was amazing and included in the room price.

Nothing, it is perfect.

Located near the seafront, this hotel offers beautiful views of the ocean across the road. Additionally, it is directly across from a small airport, making travel easy. The beds are comfortable, the shower has great water pressure, and the basic breakfast is excellent. The room is clean, quiet, and comes with a TV and bike rental.

There are not many options for shopping or dining in the immediate vicinity.

What a hidden gem! We stayed here for Christmas and had a wonderful experience. the staff was kind and the property felt extremely safe. We loved the fact that we could park close to our room, making loading and unloading convenient. the location was great, tucked away in a pretty rural setting near the airport, yet we didn't hear any planes. the room was clean and well-appointed, with a comfy bed that was a welcome sight after a long day of driving.

The only downside was our timing at breakfast due to our own fault. We arrived towards the end of the serving hours and missed out on the hot items like bacon and sausage that people had already grabbed in a rush.
