For us it was ideal.

The front desk staff, especially Cameron, was phenomenal. They took care of our mishap and made our stay much better. The breakfast options were wonderful - good selection and fresh scrambled eggs. The beds were very comfortable. The location was great, especially for those taking off early to ride the windy 9. Being off the highway was convenient. The staff, from front desk to housekeeping, were very helpful and accommodating. They quickly upgraded our room without an extra charge when we needed to accommodate more people in our family.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Athens for a family vacation. The room was visually pleasing, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was gorgeous, and I loved the high-end touch of the Dove soaps provided. The continental breakfast had a lot of variety and was kept full until the last minute. The staff were excellent and very friendly, especially Cameron at the front desk. He quickly upgraded our room without an extra charge to accommodate our family. If I'm ever in Athens again, I will definitely stay here.

As a business traveler, I really appreciated the location of this hotel. It was the perfect hub for the Windy 9 motorcycle routes in Athens. Being off the highway made it convenient for me to start my rides. The staff at the hotel, from the front desk to housekeeping, were all very helpful and accommodating. It was great to receive such friendly service throughout my stay. Another highlight was the breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.
