The hotel had a strong perfumy odor throughout the facility, which was not pleasant. the curtains in the room were thin and see-through, allowing bright sunlight to enter the room early in the morning, making it difficult for late sleepers.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, as it was close to both downtown and the UK campus. It was right off Virginia Ave, making it easy to get to any place at UK or the hospital. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and the room had plenty of space. We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Lexington. The breakfast was excellent and the location was ideal for our needs. We were attending a wedding and party at the nearby Round Barn Stable of Memories, and this hotel was conveniently located to everything. The rooms were clean and modern, with all the amenities we needed. The pool and hot tub were amazing, and our daughters loved the cookies and juice in the breakfast area. The hotel is also situated close to UK Hospital and not too far from Rupp Arena, which was a big plus. we had a wonderful experience.
