I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Champaign for 5-7 trips a year, and it's the only hotel I'll ever stay at when visiting. The check-in process was seamless and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The beds were incredibly comfy with plenty of pillows, and the large TV was a bonus. The convenient location near the expressway and U of I was a plus. The breakfast room had a nice selection, and the lady in charge, Ms. Dorothy, was attentive and nice. The air conditioning worked great, and the hotel was clean and well-maintained.

I loved the friendly staff, especially the cheerful lady at breakfast. The woman at the front desk was very helpful in getting me a fridge for my cheese curds. The spacious suite with a private bath allowed me to work without disturbing my husband. The hotel conveniently located close to restaurants, making it easy to grab a bite to eat.

The location of this hotel is very convenient, especially if you're visiting the UC area. It's close to campus activities and also to dining options, which is great. The prices are also reasonable, providing good value for money. The basic amenities in the rooms are satisfactory, although I did notice that the rooms for a handicap room were missing handrails, which could be improved. Despite that, the staff was friendly and provided good service.

The room had a musty smell and was quite noisy, especially from the children upstairs, which affected my sleep. However, overall, my stay at this hotel was okay.
