my stay at holiday inn express exceeded my expectations during a couple of nights in hillsboro. the spacious room was perfect, and i loved the breakfast options, especially the cinnamon brioche. overall, this hotel was a pleasant surprise compared to my previous visits in the area.

the a/c unit wasn't functioning well.

I was enchanted by the charming atmosphere right from check-in! The spacious Standard Room with Two Queen Beds was perfect for my family, and the breakfast spread gave us a delightful start every day. Plus, the location near Orenco Station was ideal for our Portland adventures!

The heating system in our room was a nightmare. It didn't function properly, leaving us cold during our stay, despite being set to warm. After a long day, we returned to a chilly room, and waking up in our clothes was not the comfort we expected. Additionally, we encountered maintenance issues that were not resolved despite reporting them multiple times.

Exceptional service highlighted our stay, especially with attentive staff like Maria Rivera. The spacious room featured a nice seating area and ample table space, perfect for our family needs. Breakfast was more than just continental, offering delightful options like cinnamon brioche and bacon. However, the hotel was noticeably short-staffed, affecting room availability and daily servicing. Also, the absence of a bar and restaurant was a letdown.
