The hotel was very clean and nicely furnished, with comfortable beds for a good night's sleep. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to popular attractions like Tredegar Iron Works, the riverfront park, and the state capital. We also appreciated the shuttle service available within a 2-mile radius.

The check-in process was a bit rough due to understaffing and delayed room cleaning. It took us some extra time to get our room, and when we finally did, it was still a bit dirty with trash on the floor and items not properly wiped down.

The housekeeper/cook was attentive and made me feel at home. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Good value with a better than usual free breakfast. Convenient location for sightseeing and restaurants.

The room was spacious and included a refrigerator and coffee maker, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast options were satisfying, and the hotel itself was quiet. Additionally, there were many restaurant choices nearby and a beautiful canal running area close by.

The staff, both at the breakfast buffet and the front desk, were excellent, providing top-notch service. The hotel facilities were great, and we particularly enjoyed the comfortable bed and sitting area in our room. Room had everything we needed - Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and fridge. Enjoyed a hike nearby and discovered a fantastic Jewish deli and grocery store. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and professional. Free room upgrade was a nice surprise. Downtown location with easy access to Capitol building. Delicious hot breakfast options with tasty cinnamon rolls!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was clean, quiet, and recently re-done. The bed was wonderful - so comfortable, and the blackout curtains ensured a great night's sleep. The breakfast had a nice mix of freshly prepared items, and the hot options were tasty. The hotel is close to downtown, the Altria theater, and good restaurants. I also enjoyed the convenient location to the James River parks - I had a nice 3-mile hike down to the Belle Isle loop trail. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't charge me for on-site parking.
