The location was perfect for all the fun activities we wanted to do. We shredded the gnarly waves with windsurfing and kiteboarding, then hopped on a sunset dinner cruise on the Southern Wave catamaran. The hotel's proximity to championship golf and hot nightclubs made it a rad spot for young people like us.

It would've been even more epic if the hotel had organized some cool beach parties or events for young partygoers like us.

Waking up to the tantalizing aroma of Smart Roast coffee and a mouthwatering free Express Start Breakfast full of my favorites was the perfect kickstart to my day. The fresh, fluffy pancakes were like warm, comforting hugs on a plate.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious, with a view of the pool and a glimpse of the beach. The staff, especially the housekeeping team, were amazing. The pool area was large and had plenty of beach chairs. The reception area offered delicious coffee. The second-floor lounge with shuffleboard was a hit with the teenagers in our group.

The Southern Wave catamaran's sunset dinner cruise was unforgettable, and the Island Equestrian Center provided a thrilling experience for our kids. We also enjoyed the Black Dragon Pirate Ship and Dolphin Watch. The hotel's proximity to championship golf, vibrant nightlife spots, diverse shopping centers, and a variety of restaurants made our stay even more enjoyable.

My wife says that having a designated kids' entertainment area would have been great for families with children.

I chose this hotel for a meeting due to its proximity to Andy Bowie County Park and the island's oceanfront convention center, providing a pleasant natural setting for events. The on-site BBQ facilities, fitness and business centers, as well as the 1400 square feet of conference space and meeting room, were convenient for work purposes.

The only service I missed for work was the availability of a shuttle to the convention center, which would have been advantageous for quick and efficient transportation.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in South Padre Island for 9 days. The location was perfect, just down the main road with easy access to the beach. The breakfast was delicious and I appreciated the staff serving the plates and enforcing mask wearing. The room was spotless and spacious, with comfortable beds. The staff was awesome, clean, and friendly during our stay. They were quick to respond when we asked for additional towels and made sure we had everything we needed. I had an amazing stay here. The location is right across from the beach, making it convenient to get there whenever I wanted to enjoy the beautiful view. On top of that, the staff, especially the new manager, was extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was well-stocked with ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities. The outdoor swimming pool was a great source of leisure and I enjoyed the beach access, sun loungers, and beach umbrellas that were available here.
