The king suite we upgraded to was awesome. Super clean with comfy bed and pillows. Loved the shower with great water pressure. Breakfast had lots of choices like muffins and eggs. Staff was super friendly and quick at check-in/out. Location’s perfect, close to shops and restaurants. Plus, the fitness center was a nice perk!

The room temperature was perfect upon arrival. Convenient parking, plus a garage that connects directly to the elevator. The bedding was luxurious—comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. Shower amenities were a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was good, with diverse options, and the balcony provided a tranquil morning setting. Staff were friendly and attentive, even providing a fan when ours broke. the accessible room placement was inadequate for those needing easier access. Lack of alternative meat options for breakfast and a misleading pool setup were disappointments. Clean and updated facilities, but the hotel must improve its accommodations for handicap accessibility. With these adjustments, they could truly elevate the experience.

I had a delightful experience at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Asheville Downtown. The cleanliness of the rooms was commendable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. the breakfast offered was satisfying, which made for a great start to my day exploring the area.

Pleasant location, pleasant experience with quick access to restaurants and attractions just a short walk away, plus a delicious breakfast that my kids enjoyed thanks to the unique pancake maker.

Trying to relax here was tough. I could hear everything from furniture moving to vacuums—such noise at dawn! Plus, I wasted time getting help for internet issues that should have been sorted by the hotel. Frustrating!

Smart and clean with a great location, but my experience was marred by some hiccups. Breakfast was excellent, especially the automatic pancake machine, and the hot tub was inviting—until I found it dirty and the jets malfunctioning. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly, though the check-in mix-up and an unexpected $50 upgrade charge left a sour taste. Free parking and a quick drive to dinner were huge pluses, but little maintenance issues in the pool area showed some neglect. A fantastic stay with room for improvement.

I had a fantastic stay in a clean and modern hotel with exceptional staff, and I loved that it was just a short 1.3-mile walk through a tunnel to downtown Asheville, making it easy to explore the vibrant streets, local shops, and attractions like the Asheville Art Museum and Woolworth Walk which were just over 2 km away; plus, there were plenty of nearby restaurants like Outback Steakhouse and Starbucks for quick bites after a long day of walking around. The only thing I would suggest is that the kitchen area in the suite could use a small table and two chairs for added convenience.

The kids loved the special offer where they eat for free, and free stays for kids under 18 made our trip budget-friendly. It was a fun and affordable family getaway!
