The Holiday Inn Houston Downtown, An Ihg hotel, impressed me with its spacious room featuring a separate pull-out sofa and a captivating view of a beautiful church. The complimentary breakfast was a delight, offering a wide variety of traditional breakfast items and a buffet reminiscent of the spread at a Holiday Inn Express.

The hotel charges $20 for parking in its garage, while a more affordable option at $5 is available across the street. An inconsistency in the parking fees was a minor inconvenience during an otherwise pleasant stay.

Walking distance to Pour Behavior, RISE rooftop, and other epic spots. Plus, the Metrorail across the street made getting to the Toyota Center and BBVA Compass Stadium a breeze. The downtown location was perfect for our wild nights out and hitting up cool theater district venues.

Wish they had even more young party vibes at the hotel, like a dedicated chill-out zone for us night owls.

I always choose this place because the staff once helped me return my forgotten jewelry. It suits me perfectly and has everything I need—Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, bar, restaurant, shuttle service. I keep coming back for a city break.

The location in the center of everything was perfect, as it was within walking distance of the nearest grocery store and close to all the main attractions. Additionally, the hotel facilities were top-notch, and the breakfast offered a good variety of hot food, cereals, toast, and fruit. I recently stayed at a hotel in downtown Houston for the Quilt festival. The staff at the front desk, particularly Nikeisha and Travis, were friendly and informative. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The coffee maker in the room was a real bonus for me. The location was central and convenient, and the shuttle bus service was reliable. The breakfast buffet in the restaurant downstairs was excellent, with a good variety of options for all tastes.

The Burger Theory Bar at Holiday Inn Houston Downtown was fantastic! Adrian took excellent care of us multiple times, and the food and drinks were delicious. The rooms were very clean, and the housekeeping staff was attentive every day. The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Houston, with a metro train station right in front. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the attached restaurant served delicious food. I had a great stay at Holiday Inn Houston Downtown and would definitely recommend it.

With Houston's Metrorail located across the street, we easily explored the city's vibrant venues, including RISE rooftop and VAO Supper Club. The hotel's proximity to Minute Maid Park and the NRG stadium was perfect for our family's sporting event trip, while the nearby Hermann Memorial Park and Downtown Aquarium delighted the kids.

My wife says that a children's play area would be great for families.
