The hotel is well-maintained, clean, and modern in design. The room I stayed in was spacious and tastefully furnished, similar to the Marriott Courtyard or Hilton Garden Inn style. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained, with no issues of rust or missing grout like some other places. The staff members were friendly and provided excellent service, making sure we got exactly what we ordered. The restaurant also offered a delicious breakfast to start the day right. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near antique shops and places to eat, providing a variety of options for entertainment and dining.

The fitness center at the hotel was in need of repair, with outdated equipment that could potentially cause harm to users.

During our recent stay at the Holiday Inn in Portsmouth, we were pleasantly surprised by the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. The bedspreads and pillows were brand new and added a touch of class to the old-fashioned decor. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the nice restaurant on-site. The heated pool was a great feature, especially in the winter, and we enjoyed being within walking distance of the holiday winterfest. The late check-out without any extra cost was a nice touch as well.

I would recommend this hotel. Despite a few drawbacks, such as the lack of a hot tub and the inconvenience of being placed on different floors from our friends, our stay was satisfactory.
