The room was so cozy and comfortable, I felt right at home. The Serta Presidential queen bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The complimentary Wi-Fi and HDTV made it easy to unwind after a day of exploring.

I personally found the lighting in the bathroom a bit dim.

The staff went above and beyond, making us feel welcome and providing exceptional service. The room was spacious and well-equipped with coffee, dimmable bedside lights, and comfortable pillows. The hotel is conveniently located near the subway and within easy walking distance of Harvard.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel. the value for money was unbeatable. Considering the prices in the area, I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail and the level of service provided. The location was fantastic, just a 1-minute walk to the subway station, making it easy for me to explore the city. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, ensuring that my needs were met throughout my stay. The rooms were filled with natural light, which I loved, and had all the basic amenities I could ask for. Additionally, the breakfast spread was great, and I particularly enjoyed how the hotel transformed the business area into a lunch spot where guests could bring their own food to enjoy.

As women traveling alone, we felt safe and comfortable at this hotel. The room was clean and cozy, and the location right above the T station was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. There was a good gym available in the basement, and the supermarket and subway station were just across the road.

The location is excellent, right at the exit of the subway red line in Porter Square. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it easy to find something to eat. With easy access to the red line, you can easily explore Cambridge, Boston, and even the airport. The hotel itself is modern and efficient, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The beds, furniture, and shower are all of newer standard, which adds to the overall experience. Plus, being located right by Porter Station makes it very convenient to get to the hotel from the airport and other parts of town.

Located by the subway, this hotel’s nice location makes it easy to access other parts of the city. The property's surrounding neighborhood has many attractions such as public transportation, coffee shops, and retail stores that add to the convenience of the location. Guests loved the comfortable beds as well as the personal thermostat controls for optimum sleeping conditions.

The bathroom could use some improvement, especially regarding its unusual European-style design, and the need for proper drainage repair in the shower.

The price was what attracted me to the hotel. It was clean. Room and hotel were very clean and nicely decorated. Staff were friendly. Coffee shop in the same building which is very convenient. Across the street from T stop, shops, and places to eat. Location is great, right across the street from the Red Line to get anywhere in Boston. A bit of a European flavor to the design. Modern and clean design. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Valet parking is actually pretty cheap for an overnight stay compared to parking garages that charge around $45. It is the only option other than walking or riding to your parking garage/lot. The location is excellent! Right next to the Porter subway which is the Red Line and gets you everywhere very quickly. There is also the Blue Bike dock right across the street. Nice nature areas close to the hotel eg Strawberry Hill and Spy Pond, which you can easily access via the Blue Bikes. The room is very clean though a bit small but with a lot of storage areas. The reception staff and the cleaners are all very friendly and helpful. Wi-fi is good.

There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, providing a variety of dining options. The room was spacious and comfortable for two people, with a nice view of the street. The bathroom was large and well-appointed. The property is well-maintained, clean, and attractive, giving it a modern and inviting feel.

The value for money at 1868 was fantastic. The room was cozy and the location was perfect, close to the metro and plenty of shops and restaurants. The staff treated us like VIPs, always helpful and friendly.

Our stay at Hotel 1868 was wonderful. We appreciated the cool, grudge-inspired design of the room and the great water pressure in the shower. The location was perfect with a subway station just a few yards away and plenty of fantastic restaurants in the area. Overall I had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel 1868. The room was nicely decorated and the location was great, just a 15-minute walk to Harvard. The bed was comfortable and the decor was calming. Checking in late at night was straightforward and we were able to easily leave our luggage in storage. we would recommend this hotel.
