hotel atwater in avalon exceeded my expectations! the staff was welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. the location was perfect, right in the center of everything. the bright and vibrant atmosphere added to the overall experience. definitely staying here again!

not enough towels

Great location, amenities really good and comfortable beds! Breakfast buffet and wine reception were nice perks. Plus, the hotel is conveniently located near the pier and restaurants/bars. However, the hotel is in dire need of renovations, especially the hallways, which smell old and dusty. Climbing stairs to the 3rd floor multiple times was exhausting. Would stay for the location, but improvements are necessary.

Comfiest beds ever, spacious room for four, bathroom and walk-in closet were amazing. Character-filled older hotel with friendly staff. Spectacular renovations, luxurious rooms, dreamy beds. Clean and quiet, with staff constantly sanitizing. Super comfortable bed, dark drapes, and AC for great sleep.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. They offered storage for our bags and helped us purchase tour tickets. The location was great, close to everything.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, pointing me towards all the great activities in the city. They were so welcoming and made me feel at home. The location was excellent, with the beach just steps away and the hotel being in the center of everything. It was so convenient to walk everywhere, including to and from the ferry.

The staff members were extremely helpful and attentive, providing answers to all our questions and making the sign-up process for tours and activities efficient and painless. the bright and vibrant atmosphere of the property added to our overall experience. We also appreciated the convenience of being able to leave our luggage with them until our departure time.

The shower in our room was extremely small, which made it a bit uncomfortable to use. there was quite a bit of noise coming from the room above us, which disrupted our sleep in the early morning hours.

I recently stayed at Hotel Atwater for a weekend getaway with my family. The housekeeping and maintenance staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure the safety and comfort of my baby. They even rearranged the room and provided extra bedding and pillows. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the middle of everything. We were able to easily walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The beds were super comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the showers were spacious. The staff members were friendly and always greeted us with a smile. They had a wealth of information and were always willing to assist.

The wifi never worked during our stay, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, we had some issues with our requested early check-in and late check-out.
