A charming trip back in time

This place is like stepping back to a simpler era! The architecture is gorgeous, and I loved my room and the cozy feel. The friendly staff was super helpful, and it was cool to check out D.H. Lawrence's art. No A/C but fans were nice. Just be ready for some walking since Ubers are rare in Taos.

Additionally, the attentive staff provide excellent service, ensuring that all your needs are met during your stay. Plus, having breakfast included is a great bonus, saving you time and money.

The location of La Fonda De was perfect. We enjoyed exploring the nearby Kit Carson museum and William Bent’s house. Our room had a fireplace which made it very cozy in the evening. The communal area was perfect for hanging out and playing games. We also loved the scones from the lobby shop. we had a great stay!
