The brand new facility was amazing! the beds were so comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful, which was nice after a long day of travel. the location was convenient for us and we appreciated the extra surprise birthday breakfast for our relatives.

The shower in our room was open at the top, making for a cold shower. the room had a musty smell and was not cleaned properly, with long hair on the bathroom floor and a dirty toilet bowl.

I had a great stay at Hyatt Place in Amarillo. The location was very convenient for travellers on Route 66, right by the road. The facility was brand new and the room was exceptionally clean. I also enjoyed the nearby restaurants, especially Mexican La Plaza which was within walking distance. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I believe it is important to enforce mask-wearing for everyone's safety. Additionally, the to-go breakfast bag was quite empty, consisting of only fruit and a muffin.

For the price I paid, I got great value with a clean, new room that had nice amenities like a bar, safe, and hard surface flooring. The location was convenient with good restaurants nearby. The staff, especially Jarrod at the front desk, was helpful and accommodating during my stay.

The breakfast experience could be improved by offering potty bags in the designated dog relief area and having towels available in the pool area.

Convenient location for a surprise breakfast. Rooms had nice blackout curtains, hard flooring, and comfortable beds with plenty of towels. The breakfast was a bag one with bacon, egg, and biscuit. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful, and even offered a bottle opener to open wine. Good value for money.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly courteous and treated us like VIP guests. They were always willing to help and made us feel important. The rooms were spotlessly clean with no issues. The breakfast was convenient and offered a variety of options, including sandwiches, juice, yogurt, fresh fruit, and muffins. The hotel had ample parking and the location was convenient for our plans.

And the location was perfect, close to great restaurants and with easy access to key attractions in the area.

On the downside, we were disappointed with the breakfast. It seemed like the portions were quite small and they didn't refill the items before they ran out.

The rooms at Hyatt Place Amarillo-West are so cozy, with a spacious layout and a comfortable sofa sleeper. The flat-screen TV and tea/coffee maker were perfect for our family movie nights.

I personally found the bathtub a bit small, but others might not mind.
