Great Location and Breakfast Variety

The location of the hotel in the Historic District was fantastic, making it easy to explore Charleston on foot. Although the breakfast had a good variety, some improvements could be made in terms of service efficiency and quality of food and beverages.

The Hyatt in the Historic District is centrally located with easy valet parking and a comfortable, quiet room. The breakfast had a good variety, and the staff were helpful. However, some guests experienced issues with room cleanliness and basic amenities like housekeeping and TV signal.

Found a cozy room with a gray sofa for our fam of four. The adjacent bar is fab for a nightcap! The Market stocked with snacks saved my daughters from hunger meltdowns. Fitness center helped burn off our waffle breakfasts. The brown leather seats in the breakfast area were oddly comfy. The hairdryer in the bathroom was a lifesaver. The city shuttle outside was a dream for this hiking photo buff from Canada.

Let me spill the tea, y'all! The hotel's breakfast spread rivals Maw Maw's Sunday brunch. Dine at local spots like The Ordinary and Felix nearby. The Welsh pastries are a must-try! Plus, the hotel's central location and friendly staff keep things sweet as sweet tea on a hot day.

Could use more local tips in-room for out-of-towners.

I was pleasantly surprised by the positive aspects of this hotel. the staff was courteous and professional, always on top of things and offering any helpful information. the complimentary breakfast truly was great, much better than I had expected, with a variety of delicious choices, including a made-to-order omelette station. the location was fabulous, right on the top of King street, making it very walkable.

One thing that could be improved at this hotel is the need for a room renovation. Our shower was poorly grouted and had a large drain, which was a bit hazardous.

The location was ideal for dining and nightlife, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Although parking was a bit pricey and the room lacked some amenities, the overall experience was enjoyable.

I had a hilarious experience at the breakfast area with an open-plan layout. The buffet station was a treasure trove, and I felt like a kid in a candy store, piling my plate with delicious waffles, sausages, and mixed fruit. It was the breakfast of champions!

No towels, phone and A/C issues, toilet problem. Inconvenient luggage cart, slow valet, small entrance area.

I had a FANTASTIC STAY in Charleston! the breakfast omelette station was impressive. Personalized omelettes and fresh fruit made my morning. Would definitely choose this place again. the rooms are even better in person!

For the price we paid, we got great value for money. The room was incredibly spacious with a cozy living room area. The location was perfect, with easy access to restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. During my transit through Charleston, I found the convenience of Hyatt Place Charleston - Historic District to be exceptional. Situated just 20 km away from Charleston International Airport, the hotel's location was perfect for my short stay. The family rooms and quadruple suites were spacious and comfortable, and the availability of a 24-hour business center was a great convenience for catching up on work during my brief visit.

The television in my room did not work, a minor inconvenience that nonetheless detracted from the overall comfort of my stay.
