the staff was incredibly courteous and made us feel welcome. the hotel itself was immaculate and comfortable, making our stay enjoyable. We chose this hotel because it was conveniently located near Rush Hospital, allowing us to park in the hospital garage and walk a short distance. We were also impressed by the beautiful building, which is a restored version of the old Cook County Hospital. the hotel offered a great variety of food options in the nearby food court, and the complimentary take-and-go breakfast had a nice variety of choices.

The room was so cozy, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The flat-screen TV was perfect for winding down after a long day of exploring the city. Plus, the private bathroom was stocked with fancy toiletries.

I personally found the air conditioning a bit too chilly at times.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place in the Medical/University District for a concert at the United Center in December. The hotel impressed me with its newly renovated interior, spacious hallways, and quiet surroundings despite being located in the medical district. The large showers were a nice bonus, and the friendly and helpful staff made my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast spread was amazing, and I appreciated that housekeeping checks were not done for multiple day guests. The secure lobby doors and convenient parking lot added to my peace of mind.
