I couldn't ask for a better location, right on the river. Being close to the water without being in it was perfect. Also, the hotel had great facilities and was really clean. Plus, it was conveniently close to some amazing restaurants.

We loved our stay at Idlewilde By The River! The cabin was warm, cozy, and had a beautiful river view. It was so convenient to have all the dishware, silverware, and cooking utensils for home cooked meals. We can't wait to go back! I highly recommend this hotel.

Our trip into Rocky Mountain National Park was made even more exceptional by our stay at Idlewilde. The cabin was incredibly nice, with a beautiful kitchen and a cozy porch swing where we enjoyed our morning coffee. The location was ideal, just a short distance from the park, and the sound of the rushing river outside our door was absolutely amazing. Beth, the staff member, was extremely helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. We loved the peacefulness and quietness of the property, and would definitely go back for another visit.

Beautiful property, great location!!

We had an amazing time at the property! It was exactly what we were looking for - a beautiful cabin with plenty of space for our family. The location was perfect, with easy access to Rocky Mountain NP and the main street of Estes Park. We loved being surrounded by nature and the sound of the river just outside our door was so peaceful. Our kids enjoyed being offline and having more time to play games and explore outside. Despite the lack of wifi and phone reception, it was a refreshing break from the constant connectivity. We wish we could have stayed longer and we're already planning our return trip for next year! I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and picturesque getaway.

The cabin was equipped for cooking with a dining area with a magnificent view on the other side of the picture window. It was a little too chilly to enjoy the porch swing on the screened porch but it gave the place a 'Home Sweet Home' feeling.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location by the river in the Aloha cabin was perfect for our couple's birthday getaway. The cabin was really nice and clean, with a fantastic kitchen. The hotel facilities were well-maintained and the parking was convenient. The staff, especially Beth, was super helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. It was so relaxing to sit by the river and have a beverage after a long day of hiking in the beautiful surroundings. The hotel's proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park was great for our trip, allowing us to easily explore the park.

We recently stayed at a beautiful cabin in a stunning location near Rocky Mountain National Park. The kitchen was fantastic and the sound of the snowmelt-fed river just outside our door was amazing. The property was well maintained and we enjoyed relaxing on the porch swing, sipping coffee, and watching the river flow. Beth provided excellent assistance and it was so peaceful and quiet at night. Sitting by the river was a perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking. Would definitely go back!

The managers were incredibly friendly and even alerted me to a magnificent herd of elk nearby. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, providing the perfect retreat.
