I had an amazing stay at this hostel. The staff was incredibly friendly and down to earth. The cleanliness of the property was exceptional, with plenty of showers and bathrooms that were always kept clean. The hostel had great shared living spaces both inside and outside. The location was perfect, with a trolley stop close by and the French Quarter within a 1.5 mile walk. The hostel also had fantastic facilities, including a refreshing pool to relax in during hot summer days. The affordable price and spacious private room with cold AC made my stay even better. The staff was also very helpful, allowing me to store my bag after check-out so I could explore the city a bit more. I had a fantastic experience and would definitely return.

I had a great stay at the hostel. the staff at India House were friendly and informative. the rooms were exceptionally clean, and I appreciated the fact that clean linens were provided for me to make my own bed. the bathrooms were plentiful and well-stocked with essentials. I loved the alternative vibe and tropical bungalow feel of the hostel, which was different from what you would typically expect in the United States. There were plenty of areas to relax and socialize, both inside and outside. I particularly enjoyed the hammocks around the pool. the beds in the dorms were comfortable, and the rooms didn't feel cramped. the location was convenient, with easy access to the streetcar for getting to tourist spots.

I had a wonderful stay at India House. The first room I stayed in was spacious and had some character with its loose floorboards. The shared bathrooms were clean and had locking doors for privacy. During my second stay, I was moved to a smaller room, but it was still comfortable and had a portable heater to keep me warm. The staff were accommodating and upgraded me to a private room with an ensuite bathroom for my last night. The location was great, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. I would definitely recommend staying at India House for a unique and enjoyable experience. I had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning in the future.
