The location was convenient, just a short Uber ride away from Alaska Railroad. The hotel was relatively clean, quiet, and safe. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, even offering to carry my large bag upstairs. The kitchen and bathrooms were also clean. Despite being in a not-so-inspiring neighborhood, the cheap price and friendly service made it a decent choice.

Travelling on a budget in Alaska during summer was made comfortable and affordable at Ingra House. I stayed here 3 times over 10 days and each room was unique. The lower floor room had a low ceiling which helped block out the midnight sun. The rooms were equipped with a fridge and there was a gas station nearby for snacks. I always felt safe with the locked front doors and friendly staff. The location was walkable to the center and the price was great.
