The location of the hotel was ideal, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. We loved being able to rent bikes from the hotel and explore the area. The outdoor fire and lounge area was a cozy spot to relax in the evenings. The landscaping was well-maintained and added to the overall beauty of the hotel.

Despite these minor issues, I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The overall experience was enjoyable and the location made it convenient for all of our activities.

I had such an amazing time during my stay at this hotel! The customer service was exceptional, especially when my wife and I had to leave unexpectedly due to a medical emergency. The general manager was understanding and even gave us a full refund for our last day. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. I can't thank them enough for their kindness and hospitality. I'll definitely be returning in the future. I highly recommend this hotel.

I loved the 906 club plan with money-saving opportunities for dining and bike rentals. The restaurants on the plan were excellent and the atmosphere was more casual than the main restaurant on site. The bike rental allowed me to explore the island at my own pace. I even used the money earned in the 906 club plan to treat myself to some delicious Oreo fudge from Ryba's Fudge shop.

The breakfast buffet was not impressive in terms of taste, and the service was hit or miss. However, the dinner at the hotel's 1852 Grill Room was enjoyable, despite some issues with the service.

The autumn colors added a touch of magic to our hikes, creating picture-perfect moments at every turn. The lightly populated sidewalks made it comfortable for us to stroll around, and the leisurely bike rides allowed us to explore the island's hidden gems at our own pace. We enjoyed intimate dinners and scenic carriage tours, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

My children wanted more family-friendly activities or play areas on the island.

The hotel had stunning views of the harbor and was conveniently located near downtown. the rooms were nicely decorated with new paint and the beds were comfortable. Additionally, the staff was friendly and accommodating, making the check, in process smooth and hassle, free.

There were a few negative aspects to our stay. the rooms were extremely small, making it difficult to move around.

The bathroom was surprisingly spacious and had good water pressure. The hotel went above and beyond for our 40th anniversary, welcoming us with a thoughtful card and welcome treats. The dining experiences at the ICE HOUSE and 1852 were superb, offering delicious food and excellent service. The porch and lawn seating provided great spots to relax, and the bike rental service was efficient and friendly. this hotel exceeded all expectations and provided an unforgettable experience.
