Comfortable room, clean bathroom, with friendly staff who easily accommodated our last-minute request to reduce our stay by one night, and a convenient location just a two-minute walk to the nearby river.

Everything was first-rate.

Request an early check-in or late check-out. Matt, the manager, was very accommodating during my stay and made my experience much smoother.

My stay was delightful, accentuated by the warm hospitality from the staff and the prime location just across the street from the Kern River and a fantastic park, perfect for strolls and outdoor relaxation.

Charming little inn! Spacious and quiet room, with a newly remodeled bathroom. Loved that it’s just a hop, skip, and jump to eateries and a delightful local museum! The pool was such a treat after a day of adventure.

But, darling, the hot water took its sweet time—let’s just say patience isn’t always a virtue! Also, the walls could use a touch more insulation. I didn't know my neighbors could snore so symphonically!

This quaint motor inn offers a cozy atmosphere and a beautiful view of the Kern River, just a two-minute walk from Riverside Park. The room had a clean mini fridge and microwave, but be mindful of potential noise from neighboring rooms. Overall, a pleasant stay!

Great spot for a cozy getaway

I loved the chill vibe here! The staff were super friendly and even let my pup tag along. The picnic area was perfect for meals outside. Only bummer was the rooms felt a bit cramped, and those floors were squeaky loud. But overall, it has this nice quaint charm that makes it worth it!

woudlve been higher if not for the utterly dismal air conditioning that ruined my stay! I also felt personally targeted by the rude receptionist, who clearly doesn't respect guests. frankly, I expected a complimentary upgrade for such inconveniences, but it seems my comfort wasn’t a priority here. I almost wrote a good review, but just couldn’t.

But, oh dear, my room could've used a little TLC. I mean, who doesn't love a lighting circuit taped up? So vintage, right?

Housekeeping was excellent! The location was perfect, right near great spots for local brews 🍻 and views of the river. The private rooms were a huge plus, felt like a retreat!

The check-in process could be smoother, perhaps with earlier communication for late arrivals.
