The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk from Union Square and the Powel Street BART station. The hotel has a charming, old-fashioned atmosphere and the room was furnished with lovely pieces. I stayed in a queen room with a city view, and the view was absolutely amazing. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. One unique feature I appreciated was the option to hang a red sign on my door handle to indicate that I didn't want my room cleaned on a particular day. In return, I received a $10 voucher that I could use towards food or other purchases at the hotel. The bed was comfortable and I really enjoyed my time at Beacon Grand A Union Square.
