During our romantic escape, we loved the beautiful surroundings and scenery. It was the perfect backdrop for a getaway. We also enjoyed the restaurant's great food and fair prices. Additionally, the hotel's location was ideal, within walking/biking/uber distance to other restaurants, bars, and activities.

There was some inconvenience due to ongoing construction in certain areas of the resort. This was the only downside to our stay.

Amazing views and a well-maintained property. We loved watching the boats sail by and enjoyed the beach with fire pits. The friendly staff made us feel welcome. we had a satisfying experience at Kona Kai Resort & Spa. I would recommend this hotel.

I absolutely loved my stay at this resort! The view from my private balcony was breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful marina. The location on this quiet island was ideal, providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The hotel facilities were top-notch, from the fantastic pool area to the well-equipped gym. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Additionally, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel welcomed throughout my time here.

We had a lovely surprise getaway at this resort. The room was clean and modern, and we loved the private patio. The breakfast in the room was delicious and affordable. The Keurig coffee maker was a convenient touch. The resort grounds were beautiful, with fire pits to enjoy. It was nice to be away from downtown and enjoy a quiet location. We would definitely recommend this resort.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is just great as there is little traffic noise and it is close to restaurants, the airport, and San Diego attractions. The hotel itself is beautiful and if you want to hang out at the resort or have a car, there is plenty to do. The staff are super friendly and the service, room amenities, and facilities are what you would expect from this caliber of hotel.

Great ocean view, peaceful at end of street, bright room with interesting bathroom door, nice pool, and private beach available.

The bed was fluffy and provided a good rest after a party at the restaurant. The valet and front desk were friendly and efficient. The pools were enjoyable and the bar area at the family pool was great. The view was beautiful and the location was convenient. it was a great place to stay.

The suite was upgraded and had amazing amenities for couples, including a glass shower and bath in the middle of the bedroom. The terrace offered a great view of the pool, marina, and Shelter Island hill with its cool cliffside homes. The location was perfect, with a super nautical feel and a great view of San Diego and the Bay just across the street. It was only a 5-minute drive from the airport and a $10 Uber ride to Gaslamp. it was a really great experience and I even extended my stay.

We absolutely loved the relaxing ambiance when we walked through the door. The staff, starting from the valet guys, were amazing and made us feel welcome. Check-in was painless and the hotel provided us with all the necessary information about their facilities. Our room had a magnificent view of the harbor, with beautiful boats and Point Loma homes in the background. It was clean and comfortable, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The breakfast menu had a good variety of choices, and we highly recommend trying the Lobster Benedict. The hotel's location on San Diego Bay was perfect and provided stunning views all around.

Nothing everything was great.

The recently renovated suites offer excellent views of the harbor. The room size is generous, featuring a spacious bathroom with two sinks, a large shower, and tub. The room layout allows for a relaxing soak in the tub while enjoying the harbor view. Amenities like a mini fridge, safe, iron, and coffee maker are provided. The bar by the main pool is a great spot for happy hour, followed by cozying up by the fire pit. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I recently had a solo trip and stayed in a hotel located in a peaceful area with easy access to downtown. The hotel offered free beach cruisers, allowing me to explore the surrounding area and enjoy the beautiful bay views. The room was comfortable and had a beachy vibe. The staff provided excellent service, always responding quickly to any requests. Additionally, the hotel had great facilities, including a jacuzzi, heated pool, and nightly gas bonfire pits.

I did notice that the hotel could improve on their customer service in terms of noise management during events happening in the banquet room.

We had a fantastic stay at this 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, close to the airport and right across the street from the bay. It was so convenient being close to everything and being able to explore the area easily. The service here was exceptional, from the friendly staff to the efficient room service and housekeeping. We were welcomed with a delicious drink upon arrival and enjoyed a delightful happy hour. The room amenities were top-notch, with a cozy sitting area, a comfortable balcony, and a refreshing mini-bar. We also loved the spacious bathroom with a bathtub and free toiletries. we had a wonderful experience and would recommend this place to anyone.

The only downside we noticed was that one of the front desk staff members was a bit rude and didn't listen to our concerns. However, this was a minor issue compared to all the positive aspects of this hotel.
