Stayed at La Pensione for two weeks on a business trip. Great staff, accommodating and friendly. Good price, clean and modern rooms. Convenient location in Little Italy, close to restaurants and train station. Light sleepers can request a quiet room with an ocean view. Queen beds are comfortable, but taller guests may prefer king beds. a satisfying stay with everything I needed.

Perfectly clean room with comfy bed and great shower pressure. The bay view from the window was amazing, and we enjoyed people-watching from our room. The staff was always friendly and gave us great suggestions. The coffee shop and pizza restaurant on-site were superb. The location was key - close to everything we wanted to see and do.

The elevator was a little slow, but not a major issue. The room had a slight musty smell, but we were able to open the windows to air it out.

We stayed in a hotel located in a great area; The location was within walking distance of the ocean, with great cafes that served tasty coffee and cakes. The rooms had a modern and cosy look with great bathrooms and friendly services.

The hotel did not offer any free parking space, so we had to pay extra money for parking.

The location couldn't be beat - we were within walking distance to so many sights, including the shoreline and local Little Italy restaurants. We also loved how easy it was to get around the city, thanks to the nearby tram and bus stops, as well as the trolley station. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I especially appreciated the attention to detail, like having enough towels and a quiet room. It felt like I was staying in a European hotel, which was a nice touch. Great location in Little Italy with delicious dining options nearby and walking distance to the waterfront. Room size is cozy but lacks make-up mirror and bathroom mirror. Complimentary coffee and pastry coupon is a nice surprise. Helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable bed for a good night's sleep.

My stay at La Pensione was wonderful! I was in San Diego for a weekend getaway and stayed at this centrally located hotel. The modern and cute space was perfect for a solo traveler like myself. I loved the heavenly coffee from the downstairs cafe, and the friendly staff made the experience even better. The small room had the added bonus of a tiny balcony that overlooked a charming courtyard, allowing for fresh air and a lovely view. great value and a fantastic location near Little Italy and public transportation.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood. It was easy to explore and walk to nearby attractions and restaurants. Additionally, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The fact that the hotel offered underground parking, although a bit pricey, was convenient for those who needed it.

There were a few negative aspects of my stay. there seemed to be some issues with transparency in billing and charges.
