i loved the very nice and clean rooms! smelled fresh and close to beale street. However, the walk back at night feels unsafe due to location. 😟

The La Quinta Inn & Suites in Memphis Downtown offered an excellent location, just a short distance from the vibrant dining scene and popular attractions. The comfortable rooms, equipped with refrigerators and flat-screen TVs, made me feel at home. The complimentary hot Bright Side Breakfast was a delightful surprise, providing a variety of options to start the day right.

I experienced a disappointing rush to vacate my room, despite being assured that I could extend my stay past the checkout time for a fee.

Enjoyable stay with La Quinta By Wyndham Memphis Downtown. Comfortable beds and good location near Beale Street and Sun Studios. Breakfast selection could improve, but staff were friendly and helpful. Room was a tad noisy and prices slightly high, but overall a fine place to stay in Memphis.

Loved how clean and quiet the hotel was, beds were comfy! Close to Adam Sandler show; easy walk to FedEx Forum. Lobby was bright and staff were pleasant. 🌟 Thought hotel was great value.

Venturing out for local grub was a mouthwatering journey! High Cotton Brewing Company's brews were pure bliss, while Lew's Blew Note Bar & Grill served up soulful dishes that hit all the right notes. Dorothy Mae's comfort food was like a warm hug from grandma. The historic & secure location was a snug retreat, and the cool decor added to the Southern charm.

Cheaper joints offered heartier fare. Perhaps fewer faces at the coffee bar would've kept things smoother.

The room was so cozy and had everything I needed - mini-fridge, microwave, and a big, comfy bed. The free WiFi and premium channels kept me entertained after a long day of exploring Memphis.

I wished the free to-go laundry facilities were a bit more spacious.

Oh, the view of the road outside was just breathtaking, in the most unattractive way possible. Who wouldn't want to wake up to traffic noise?

The staff was friendly and provided excellent information about Memphis and sightseeing options. Having a little store on-site was super convenient, especially when I needed something for a headache. The shuttle service was a great bonus and helped me save on booking certain tours.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was if a few items were restocked more promptly. Also, it would have been nice if breakfast ran a bit later, as it wrapped up by 9:00 a.m. and I missed out a couple of times when I wanted to sleep in and have a free breakfast.

It is also within walking distance of downtown Memphis and halfway to Sun Studios. The rooms are clean and updated, with comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and helpful, making your stay enjoyable.

One downside is that the bathroom design lacks a shower curtain, causing water to flow all over the floor, creating a high risk of falling.
