We recently had a fantastic stay at a lakeside retreat just a short drive from several attractions. The cozy guest rooms were clean and updated, providing the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The staff was friendly and thorough, ensuring our check-in experience was smooth. We loved the convenience of having a fridge and microwave in the room, as well as the jetted tub for a little extra luxury. The serene location right by the lake allowed us to fall asleep to the soothing sound of the waves crashing on the shore.

The temporary inconvenience caused by ongoing pavement work, but it was a minor issue in comparison to the overall pleasant experience.

The breathtaking view of Lake Superior from our room was truly memorable, allowing us to enjoy the beauty of nature right from our own balcony. Additionally, the hotel facilities were impressive, with multiple fire pits located right on the lake shore. This provided a wonderful opportunity to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings.

We had a fantastic three-night stay at Larsmont Cottages. The location right off the lake was perfect, and we loved the activities provided, like the bikes and games. The accommodations were spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The grounds were well-maintained, and we enjoyed spending evenings by the fire pits with the provided wood and Adirondack chairs. We can't wait to return and bring along friends and family next time!

As trekkers and a group of friends, we absolutely loved the variety of activities at Larsmont. The fire pits, pool, hot tub, sauna, and bikes were all great additions to our stay. The communal spaces and the layout of the grounds reminded us of a camp, creating a fun and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant served delicious food with fantastic service, and being located right on Lake Superior was a major plus. We can't wait to return and bring our friends and family along next time.

The highlight of my room was the wall of windows, offering breathtaking views of the lake right from my bed. Falling asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing was truly magical. The communal spaces and fire pits scattered throughout the grounds created a warm and inviting atmosphere, giving the property a camp-like feel. Even though I only had two nights to explore, I was impressed by the variety of activities available. Larsmont Cottages truly exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it for a unique and enjoyable stay.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The cottages and queen room were conveniently located close together with a grassy area for kids to play. The campfire at night was enjoyable. The food and drinks at the lodge exceeded expectations. The location was peaceful, right on the lake with fire rings. The staff was friendly and efficient.

The location, right by the beautiful lake, made for a picturesque backdrop and easy access to some great outdoor activities like biking and bonfires. the cottages themselves were cozy and comfortable, offering the perfect respite from the outdoor activities.

The walls were thin in the cottages, so we could hear everything our neighbors were doing, which made for less privacy and a lot of noise at times. some inconsiderate guests caused noise disruptions late into the night, and there was no noise barrier to prevent this from happening.

This hotel on the North Shore of Lake Superior offers great value for money. The location, just north of Duluth, is perfect for exploring the surrounding area and enjoying outdoor activities like hiking and visiting nearby attractions such as Split Rock Lighthouse. The rooms with kitchen amenities and the option for two beds make it convenient for families or groups of friends. Additionally, the attentive staff and the availability of basic amenities ensure a comfortable stay.

No improvements needed, everything was satisfactory.

For the price we paid, we got exceptional value. The room was cozy and the bed was super comfortable. The location right next to the beautiful lake was breathtaking, and the staff treated us with utmost respect and courtesy.

The breakfast menu could use a little improvement, perhaps by adding more variety or some special dishes.
