I had a great time staying at this motel near WCU for family week. Despite the 30 mile drive, the motel was worth it. The surrounding area had plenty of nice restaurants to choose from, which made dining out convenient. The motel itself may be older, but it was clean, attractive, and comfortable. Considering we were out all day and only used the room for sleeping, it was a nice and economical choice. I really enjoyed the cozy and welcoming atmosphere outside the rooms with rocking chairs and a Fire Cistern. The proprietors were very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this place for a budget-friendly stay.
