We had an amazing New Year's getaway in the mountains. the B&B had a cozy and rustic feel, making us feel like we were truly in the woods. the owners were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast they served was absolutely delicious. the location of the lodge was perfect, with breathtaking views of the mountains and a peaceful atmosphere. We also enjoyed the well-maintained grounds and the walking trails that allowed us to explore the beautiful surroundings.

One minor issue was that our en-suite bathroom tended to get a bit chilly when the door was closed. Perhaps having a small room heater on a timer would have solved this problem.

We enjoyed the country charm and the opportunity to relax in the beautiful mountain surroundings. The breakfast, prepared by Marsha, was superb, and the afternoon treats were a delightful touch. The hosts, John and Marsha, were generous and accommodating, even providing us with a card table for our jigsaw puzzle. The location, with its outstanding view, and the spacious deck added to our enjoyment. The comfortable bed and pristine cleanliness of the inn ensured a great night's sleep.

We had a wonderful stay at Lazy Bear Lodge! Marsha's delicious breakfast and the cozy atmosphere made our visit truly enjoyable. The view from the deck was outstanding, with plenty of chairs to relax in. Our room, Black Bear, had its own semi-private section and gliders, which added to the charm. The grounds were beautiful, with surprising additions like statues peppered throughout. The location was perfect, with easy access to Blowing Rock, Boone, and Banner Elk. We highly recommend this cozy mountain retreat for a relaxing getaway!
