We stayed at the Ashland Motel - University for a week while attending events at the nearby university and theaters. The office manager was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in late and check out late. The location was perfect, right across from the university and within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and a 7-11. The cleanliness of the room and the abundance of storage space were both impressive. Additionally, the decor had a unique Euro-modern style with original art that we really appreciated. The motel's exterior may look outdated, but once inside, it felt like a hidden gem.

My family and I stayed at the University Motel for a few nights while visiting friends. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the rooms had all the necessities without any unnecessary clutter. The tile shower in the bathroom was beautifully remodeled and the bamboo flooring was a nice touch. The pool was a big hit with my kids, who loved that it stayed open late and didn't irritate their eyes. The young receptionist at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. Additionally, having a Safeway right across the street was very convenient. we had a great experience and plan to stay here again in the future!

Had a great Easter weekend at a motel in Ashland. the room was newly remodeled and clean, with a comfortable bed. the staff was friendly and accommodating, even fixing the TV remote when it wasn't working. the location was perfect, within walking distance to several restaurants and the college. Plus, the motel had a pool that looked inviting.

There were a few downsides. the shower temperature tended to fluctuate when other rooms used water.
