My recent stay at McMenamins Old St. Francis School was a delightful experience. The property exudes charm with its cute decor and spacious rooms. I particularly loved the wood burning fireplaces scattered throughout the campus, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere.

I must note that as someone with asthma and COPD, the woodsmoke from the fireplaces posed a serious danger to my health. There was no escape from the woodsmoke, as it permeated our room through closed windows and even caused an asthmatic episode within minutes of entering.

Very atmospheric with a selection of pubs, a cozy bar, and friendly bar staff. The food was excellent, especially the gyro and sweet potato fries. The Art House and Broom Closet were unique and enjoyable. The soaking pool was fantastic, although a little inconvenient to access.

Felt so at home, no complaints.

The hotel was clean and had great facilities, including a parking area. The location was perfect, as it was close to the broom closet and other restaurants and bars in downtown. The highlight was definitely the AWESOME soaking pool, reminiscent of being in Rome. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel offers excellent value for money, with reasonable prices for the accommodation. The attention to detail throughout the property is impressive, especially in the unique room designs and decor. The location is fantastic, nestled between shops and restaurants, making it a convenient choice for exploring downtown Bend. The staff members are friendly and helpful, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests. The rooms, although lacking a fridge or microwave, provide all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the breakfast served at the pub is delicious, offering a variety of mouthwatering meals.

The hotel had several unique and quirky buildings, each with its own style. The room we stayed in was spacious with a great view of the courtyard and outdoor bar. The hotel's location was fantastic, just a quick walk to downtown and the Deschutes River. It was also convenient to have several bars and restaurants right in the hotel.

The rooms in the new Ed House were minimalist and lacked amenities like fridges and coffee makers. The pillows were quite small and there was limited storage space for luggage.

The rooms at this destination stay were incredibly spacious and had all the necessary amenities. We had a blast exploring all the facilities and activities that were offered. Plus, the location was perfect, within walking distance of downtown and easily accessible to key attractions. the added bonus of complimentary coffee in the mornings and a local paper made our stay even more enjoyable.

The room's heating system was not working properly, which made us feel a bit chilly throughout the evening. This was a slight inconvenience during our stay.

This hotel provides an exceptional experience with a friendly staff, perfect location downtown, and clean accommodations. The well-decorated rooms come with wooden balconies and beautiful views of the area. Guests have a variety of food options to choose from as the surrounding restaurants are within walking distance. Additional, the hotel offers a unique indoor space with beautiful woodwork and a great selection of beers and spirits to boot.

Fireplaces on the property may be a concern for guests who have respiratory illness.

The hotel is in a great location, right by downtown and between the restaurants. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the basic amenities in the room were good. The breakfast at the pub was delicious, we loved the Schoolhouse and the homemade Hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Benedict.

The atmosphere at McMenamins Old St Francis School was truly enchanting. Exploring the unique buildings and secret passages was like stepping into a magical world. The warm and cozy room was historically interesting, and the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. I especially loved the relaxing and beautifully tiled soaking pool. The restaurant had delicious pub food and was adorned with stunning artwork, stained glass windows, and intricate wood carvings. I highly recommend this one-of-a-kind hotel experience.

The bed was amazing and the robes were a nice touch. The heat was turned on before our arrival, keeping us toasty. The food was delicious and they were able to accommodate my spouse's gluten-free dietary needs. We enjoyed the variety of bars on-site and the hot soak was amazing!

We felt so taken care of, nothing was too much trouble.

The attention to woodwork and decor is impressive. The artwork with a Catholic school theme adds a unique touch. The courtyards are attractive and comfortable. The Turkish bath is clean and memorable. The handout called 'walking tour' provides interesting information on history, art, woodwork, and lighting.
