Additionally, the location in the downtown area is perfect, allowing easy access to all the attractions Monterey has to offer.

We had a great time exploring the beautiful city of Monterey over Easter weekend. the hotel we stayed at offered clean and spacious rooms, which we found very comfortable. the continental breakfast provided was simple but good quality, with a variety of cereals, bagels, croissants, fruit. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect for us as it was close to various tourist spots like the wharf, downtown, and Cannery Row. We were able to walk to these places easily, making our stay even more convenient.

The location was perfect, just a short walk away from Fisherman's Wharf and downtown. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early.

Loved our romantic escape! the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with cozy fireplaces and comfortable beds. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the historic district and just a short walk to the wharf. We enjoyed the peaceful patio and garden, perfect for relaxing. the staff was friendly and helpful, giving great restaurant recommendations and suggestions for activities. A wonderful inn for a weekend getaway!

Worst aspect was the view from the non-garden rooms, which overlooked the parking lot. Would have been nicer to have a more scenic view.

I had a wonderful stay at the Merritt House Inn. The location was absolutely perfect, with easy access to all the points of interest in the beautiful Monterey Peninsula. I enjoyed strolling the streets of Alvarado, Calle Principal, and Larkin, and the boutiques and shops were a delight. The proximity to the wharf and Estero Park was also a plus. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring that all of my needs were met during my stay.

Now, let me tell you about the room. While there were some minor issues, such as the heat not working and the sink not draining, the staff promptly resolved these and relocated me to a different room that better suited my taste.
