We loved the clean and spacious suites with a great view of the river. The full kitchen was well-equipped with dishes, silverware, and pots, making it convenient for cooking our own meals. The sliding door leading to the balcony overlooking the river added a lovely touch to our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing suggestions for nearby restaurants and ensuring our comfort throughout. The location was perfect for us, being close to Bangor and the I-95.

Nothing that we didn't like.

The best aspects of our stay at this motel were the beautiful view of the river and the spacious rooms. the location of the motel was also convenient, as it was just a short drive away from the city center. we appreciated the kitchenette in the room, which allowed us to cook our own meals and save money on eating out.

One of the things we didn't like about the motel was its shabby appearance. While it was a good value for the money, the motel could use some updating and maintenance.

We recently stayed at Motel On the River in Milford and had a fantastic experience. the location was perfect for our visit to the area, close to UMO where our daughter will be attending college. the motel had a quaint and peaceful atmosphere, and we particularly loved the view from the back deck. It was also very easy to find and the owners were friendly and helpful. Having a kitchen in our room was a great convenience, allowing us to make our own breakfast and snacks.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

I had a fantastic stay at this motel. The location right on the river was breathtaking, and I loved waking up to the beautiful view. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. I also appreciated the close proximity to a great restaurant. a wonderful experience.

That the lights in the room could have been brighter for reading and writing.

We stayed at the Motel On The River for our visit to Baxter State Park and Acadia National Park. Jane upgraded us to a 2-bedroom suite upon arrival. The rooms were spacious with a small living area, kitchenette, and dining space. The balcony had stunning views of the river and pine trees. The lady at the reception was incredibly nice and checked in to ensure everything was fine. The hotel had a pretty view of the river, great parking, and the room was roomy and clean. a great experience.

Would recommend this hotel.

We had a great time at the Motel On The River for our overnight stay in Maine. The location was perfect for us, as we were traveling between north and south Maine. The motel had a glimpse of a beautiful river, which added to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was definitely the comfortable bed, the best we had in our entire 9-day trip in New England. The spacious and clean kitchenette also met our needs perfectly. We were three friends staying in separate apartments, and we all agreed that if we come back to UMO for games, we will definitely choose this motel again. It provided comfortable and convenient accommodations for us and our dog, and the separate bedroom was a bonus when our son stayed with us for a few nights. We also loved having a balcony that overlooked the serene river, especially during the peak foliage season when everything was so beautiful. our stay at the Motel On The River was exactly what we were looking for - homely, comfortable, and enjoyable.
