Great location with a breathtaking view of the fountain from our room. The hotel was situated close to the funeral we were attending, making it convenient for us. The room itself was comfortable and well laid out, providing a pleasant stay. The lobby had a friendly atmosphere and was nicely decorated. We enjoyed the tasty breakfast, especially the biscuits and gravy. The outdoor seating by the fire pit was a nice touch. we were satisfied with the facilities and amenities provided.

During our recent stay at Marriott City Center, we experienced excellent service from the Front Office Supervisor, Zambrielle. She went above and beyond to resolve a reservation issue and ensured our stay was hassle-free. The staff treated us like royalty and made our stay in Newport News/Hampton unforgettable. The hotel is located in a lovely area with restaurants and bars within walking distance, making it convenient for dining and entertainment. The breakfast service was also exceptional, with attentive staff members Vivian and Roxanne providing excellent service. The omelette made by Cidy or Katy was delicious. we had a great experience, despite a few minor drawbacks such as missing toiletries and a limited movie selection. Despite these small issues, I highly recommend the Marriott City Center for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Newport News/Hampton.

Plus, the hotel was close to Hampton University. The rooms were nice with comfortable beds. The cleanliness of the bathroom was commendable, and the breakfast was satisfactory.
