the parking was an absolute nightmare, with deep snow and no plowing, guess I was supposed to shovel my own car. breakfast options were underwhelming, like they were trying to stretch leftovers. I expected to at least recieve some complimentary gesture for my troubles, but guess that’s too much to ask for. just couldn’t give this place a good review.

Clean room, comfortable beds, the staff was very attentive in maintaining the breakfast area and ensured we enjoyed a good meal before exploring the nearby attractions, while the location was conveniently situated about 79 km from the nearest airport for easy access.

Everything was exceptional.

The two-room suite was spacious, and having a kitchenette made it feel like home. Enjoyed the self-serve breakfast options, especially the make-your-own waffles.

the parking situation was an absolute nightmare, ditto for the slamming doors of housekeeping. i thought I might get a complimentary room upgrade as compensation for my troubles, but alas, i woudl ve been wrong. just when I thought this place might receive a good review, the disappointments continued to pile up.

We find the location ideal for exploring historic sites along the river and enjoy easy access to a nearby casino. The spacious two-room suite with a kitchenette provides a homely feel, and the self-serve breakfast options, especially the make-your-own waffles, are fantastic.

We do notice that parking can become quite challenging during busy events.

I was disappointed with the parking situation, as there were times when it was difficult to find a spot due to other guests taking up too many spaces.

I loved how spotless the rooms were during our stay! It was such a joy to wake up to a comfortable environment, and the make-your-own waffles at breakfast were a delightful treat. Plus, the close proximity to several restaurants made dining out a breeze!

While the accommodations were decent overall, there were some hiccups with noise. I could hear the elevator and another guest's air conditioner from my room, which disrupted my sleep a bit. The parking situation also left something to be desired, especially during busy events, making it challenging at times to find a spot. Additionally, the dining area's cutlery and crockery were all disposable, which is not my favorite way to enjoy a meal after paying top dollar for the stay.

stayed in a king room at nichols inn for 2 nights. the location was perfect, just a short drive from hastings, mn. staff were super friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze. the rate for our stay was excellent!

Friendly front desk, free parking, nice breakfast options. Wi-fi was spotty at times.

Cozy stay despite the ice!

Our stay was nice! We checked in early because of a gnarly ice storm, which was a bonus. The fireplace was a sweet spot to kick back with my book. Breakfast was pretty tasty too. Only issue was the ice in the parking lot. it made moving around a bit tricky.

the location is convenient for exploring nearby parks and museums. enjoyed reading by the fireplace and the breakfast options, though more variety would have been nice.
