We stayed at North Colony for our family trip to Storyland and we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome from the start. We had a fantastic 2-night stay at North Colony! The location was perfect for skiing and cross-country trails, and we loved the nearby lunch place and general store. The woman who checked us in was friendly, and the property was well-maintained. The room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the pillows were really comfy. The decor was not overly dated, and we were pleasantly surprised by the fun elements for kids. This property is now on our shortlist for future visits!

Everything was so clean and nice, and the owners were incredibly friendly. The play yard was a must-visit, especially if you have kids. It's a shame my grandson wasn't there to enjoy it. I also loved the swing out front, where I could relax and sip a glass of wine at the end of the day. The location was perfect, just 30 miles from the cog railroad to Mount Washington and with easy access to the Kancamagus Highway. It was also close to Jackson and had great dining options nearby. The room was spacious and clean, with beautiful fall decorations. I wish I could bring my grandchildren from South Carolina to enjoy the amazing playground on the property. If I ever find myself in this area again, I would definitely choose to stay here.
