My husband and I enjoyed a much-needed night away from the kids at this lovely inn. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to book a taxi for our early flight. We were pleasantly surprised by the charming historic homes that make up this inn. The modern room was spotlessly clean and had a comfortable bed. We appreciated the hot water carafe for making our own coffee and tea. The website was easy to navigate, and the amenities in the bathroom were top-notch. The central location near the University of Virginia campus and restaurants was a bonus.

Conveniently located to the university, staff is friendly. Complimentary valet parking, breakfast at the cafe is reasonably priced and excellent. Reception staff helped organize a taxi and offered complimentary refreshments. Spacious and comfortable room with natural light, stocked cooler and attentive staff. Premier location, elegant room and bathroom, nice hotel bar and pool. Super comfy bed, complimentary water and seltzer, quiet environment.

We loved this place! It was conveniently located in a charming residential area near the University, with beautiful tree lined streets. The service was excellent - the staff was friendly and helpful, and even provided a welcome drink. Our room was comfortable with all the amenities we needed, and we enjoyed spending time in the lovely garden area and at the outdoor swimming pool.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends - it was a wonderful experience all around!

As bike riders, we loved the convenient location in a residential neighborhood, with our own entrance. The rooms were clean, perfectly sized, and the staff friendly. The Oakhurst cafe in another building had great food and a relaxed atmosphere.

The cost was a little on the high side, especially since there wasn't a refrigerator in the room. the library with the Express machine was a bit disappointing as it never seemed to work.

We loved the cleanliness of the hotel and the cozy fireplace in the library, where we could relax and enjoy the morning's NYTimes. The location was perfect as it was right in the middle of the university and next to the campus. The hotel facilities were outstanding, with complementary water, tea, coffee, and cookies.
