The hotel was conveniently located near a variety of restaurants and nightlife options, making it easy to find something to do during our romantic escape. The view from our room was also quite pleasant, adding a touch of romance to our stay. Additionally, the room was comfortable and had enough amenities to make us feel at home.

There were a few negative aspects of our stay. Firstly, the undisclosed fees that were added to our bill were quite frustrating.

We had the pleasure of staying in a stunning king corner room with a breathtaking bay view at the Oakland Marriott. Sue & Alex provided the warmest welcome and were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The soundproof rooms allowed for private relaxation, and being able to see the bay and Lake Merritt was a true treat. The hotel is conveniently located near the 12th Street BART station, making it easy to explore the area. We also discovered some fantastic dining options in the neighborhood, such as Cock-a-doodle cafe for brunch and Italian cafe 817. The staff truly went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and requests, and we loved the modern, clean room with its incredible view. The business lounge was also a nice perk, offering delicious gourmet food and drinks.

Strategically located, surrounded by impressive architecture, and close to a BART station. Walking distance from Lake Merritt and Jack London Square. Rooms are modern and well-equipped with refrigerators and efficient air conditioning. Friendly and welcoming staff.

The staff was exceptional, making me feel special and providing great guidance. The room was sparkling clean and smelled wonderful. The staff was professional, courteous, and remembered us on our monthly trips.

Additionally, the staff here is incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing excellent room service and amenities like car hire and dry cleaning. This place truly exceeded my expectations.

The walls in our room were thin, making it difficult to sleep with the noise from neighboring rooms. the breakfast options at the hotel restaurant were limited and overpriced.
