The room had a beautiful view from the deck and was very charming. the location of the hotel was key, offering easy access to hiking trails and other outdoor activities. Another advantage was the peaceful and quiet atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway.

The check-in process was a bit confusing as we had to go to a different location. It would have been helpful to have this information beforehand.

We loved the picturesque location and stunning views of Hessian Lake and the Hudson River. The Overlook Lodge provided a modern and spacious room, perfect for our family. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The free breakfast offered good quality options, such as individually packed cereals and strong, delicious coffee.

We felt completely content during our stay, with nothing being too much trouble.

I recently stayed at a hotel near Woodbury for a shopping trip and had a fantastic experience at Bear Mountain Inn. The location next to the lake was amazing, and the service provided by the staff was top-notch. Despite the lack of breakfast, I didn't mind as I brought my own meals. The free parking was a bonus, and the fireworks during the 4th of July were absolutely amazing. I can't wait to come back in the summer and explore the surroundings more!

I recently stayed at the charming Overlook Lodge for a getaway with my sister. Our room was lovely and had convenient amenities like a Keurig, microwave, and fridge. The spa was excellent and offered the best massage I've ever had. The staff, including the helpful night and day clerks, went above and beyond to assist us. We also appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and easy access to the train for visiting NYC. it was a quiet and affordable stay, and we would definitely return for another visit.

We got great value for our money with a clean, cozy, and recently renovated room. The location was perfect for exploring Bear Mountains state park and the staff treated us wonderfully.

The staff at the hotel were absolutely amazing - they promptly moved me to a new room when I expressed my dissatisfaction. The hotel grounds were beautiful and the location was wonderful. The room was clean and quiet, which was more important to me than the outdated furniture and decor. I had a great experience and would stay again.

Lovely Off-Season Getaway with Cozy Fireplace

During our off-season visit to the lodge, we had a truly wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The lodge itself was in great shape, and we loved having the fireplace and common rooms to ourselves. It was so peaceful and quiet, like our own little world. And when it snowed, it was absolutely magical! we highly recommend a weekend getaway at Overlook Lodge And Stone Cottages At Bear Mountain during the winter months. It's the perfect place for rest and relaxation.

The location of the hotel was great, with beautiful views of the lake and river. It was also conveniently close to West Point, making it easy to explore that area. the lobby was nice and the complimentary breakfast was a bonus.

The cleanliness of the rooms was a major issue. the first room we were assigned had a filthy bathroom, and the second room had ripped drapes and a peeling bathtub.
