great spot for a beach getaway

Super clean and cozy place! Excellent customer service made my stay special. Beds were comfy, and the overhead shower was a nice touch. Location’s pretty good, just a short walk to the beach. Had a little hiccup with the shower during check-in, which was annoying, but the staff tried to help. Free parking is a plus!

I recently stayed at this hotel in Sunset Beach for a weekend getaway with my kids. The owner was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the rooms were small but great value for the area. We had everything we needed including a safe place to park, fast WiFi, a coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator in our room. The beds were comfortable and the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and not far from Catalina Express. a great value option in a convenient location.

Great New Year Getaway

The location of this hotel was perfect for our New Year getaway! It was just a short walk away from the beach, which made it really convenient for us to enjoy the ocean and beautiful sunset views. the fact that there were no public parking or amenities nearby meant that we could escape the large crowds typically found in popular beach areas. Additionally, we appreciated the ample and free parking provided by the hotel.

Recently updated guest room with comfortable beds and nice quality linens. Amenities include microwave, fridge, and coffee maker with real ceramic cups. Clean and spacious bathroom with window shutters for adjustable lighting and privacy. Convenient location near the beach.

I recently stayed at Surf City Inn for a family vacation and had a fantastic time! The king room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful wood floor and a large bathtub with jets. The shower was huge and had a nice rainfall shower head. The room was well-equipped with a microwave, small fridge, and table & chairs for dining. The windows were new and allowed for fresh air. The hotel's proximity to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and parks was a major plus. The front desk manager was friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The location was perfect with easy access to the beach and a short drive to Disneyland. There were also plenty of restaurants and gas stations nearby. The recently renovated bathroom was a highlight, and each room had a small fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable and the room was neat and clean.

Breakfast choices could be improved with more variety.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the renovated and beautiful surroundings at Surf City Inn. The bathrooms were amazing and the beds were extraordinarily comfortable. The outdoor balcony space in rooms 320 and 220 was a great addition. The staff, especially Anna, were friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and the beach was just a quick walk away.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I liked the fact that the room was spacious and had a separate jacuzzi tub, which was perfect for relaxation after a long day of holiday activities. the location was also a plus, with a nearby grocery store and coffee shop within walking distance.

The customer service at the front desk was also lacking, with an employee who seemed unsure of how to assist guests and another who was not very friendly. the lack of an elevator meant that I had to carry my luggage up two flights of stairs in a cramped stairwell.

Clean sheets, convenient walk to the beach and PCH restaurants. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Limited parking but we didn't have any challenges. a good value and we would choose this spot again for a future stay. 🏖️
