I visited to enjoy the beautiful scenery and relaxation by the lake. The views from my room were absolutely awesome, and I appreciated the well-stocked kitchen area for cooking. Even though the property is a bit dated, it has its charm, especially with the peaceful surroundings and deer wandering around. Overall, it was a cozy getaway in the hill country.

We absolutely loved the stunning sunset views over the lake while cooking in the well-stocked kitchenette! The deer wandering the area added a magical touch to our stay, making it feel like a fairytale. Quiet and cozy, it was a wonderful getaway!

Arriving at 4 PM, our room was a toasty 86 degrees, and the AC struggled to cool it down despite the staff's best efforts. Even with a fan, we left at 8 PM, still uncomfortably warm at 82 degrees. Great spot, but maybe hit it up in cooler months!

Loved the deer chillin' around the place, but it was a bit rough with bugs invading the room. Still, the patio views were stunning, eh?

During my stay, I faced several challenges. The air conditioning in my room struggled to cool the space adequately during the heat of summer, and despite my concerns, the room remained uncomfortably hot. Additionally, the location was a bit isolated, making it difficult to access nearby dining or shopping options.

It was just a balanced option for a brief pause in Burnet with fantastic value for money. We had a great time renting kayaks and swimming in the lake. the kids loved it! Bring some snacks as the nearest grocery store is quite a drive away.

The lake view was exceptional & the staff was incredibly attentive! Enjoying bbqs under the pavilion with family was a highlight.

The facility felt outdated, and there were several bugs around the area that detracted from our experience!

Great picnic area and free parking. No pets allowed, which is good for allergies.

Very small lodge tucked away and difficult to find!!! Bathroom was cramped and uncomfortable!!! Location is remote with no nearby restaurants or grocery stores!!! Need better outdoor shaded areas for comfort!!!

the setting down by the lake was simply breathtaking , with deer wandering around the lush green area , and picnic tables provided a perfect spot for outdoor meals. our room was spotless and equipped for all our needs.

This place suits me perfectly! It has free wi-fi, a lovely outdoor dining area, and a well-stocked kitchenette. On my first stay, the staff helped me at night with a room issue. I highly recommend staying here for a romantic escape!
