The staff was above and beyond! Really attentive ☺️. Plus, the location was perfect, just a stone's throw from Hofn! The cleanliness of the rooms stood out, they were spotless!

I enjoy the stunning glacier views and the cozy atmosphere of the guesthouse. The hot spring pools nearby provide a perfect way to relax while taking in the beautiful scenery.

Limited on-site dining options can make meals a bit inconvenient.

Limited dining options forced a 20 km drive for meals!!! Often only one staff member available for check-in, leading to long waits!!! Maintenance issues and outdated furniture detracted from the overall experience!!!

The location is absolutely breathtaking, sitting right in front of a glacier and only a short drive from stunning glacial lagoons. The spacious room offered beautiful views, and the breakfast was delightful, featuring a variety of options like yogurt, fruits, and meats.

However, reaching the geothermal hot tubs required a bit of a drive, which was slightly inconvenient.

Friendly and accommodating staff provided excellent service.

During my stay, the bathroom floor was often wet due to a drainage issue with the shower. This was quite inconvenient, as I had to put towels down to soak up the water, but they would remain soaked for the duration of my stay. Additionally, the breakfast selection was disappointing, with basic items running out quickly and a lack of variety for the number of guests. It was frustrating to see so few choices available.

Spectacular view, friendly staff, and a wonderful breakfast experience with made-to-order waffles and homemade jams made our stay truly memorable, complemented by the convenience of free parking and quick access to stunning hiking trails nearby.

Entirely satisfied

Waking up to the breathtaking glacier views from my room was pure magic. The friendly staff and tasty breakfast made mornings feel welcoming. Plus, we even caught a glimpse of the Northern Lights right from our window!

However, check-in was a bit confusing due to limited hours, and we couldn’t use the kitchen for self-catering. It’s also worth noting that the hot tubs are a short drive away, which was slightly inconvenient after a long day of exploring.

Waking up to those gorgeous glacier views was a real bonus! The comfy beds were a proper treat after a day of exploring, and the hot tubs down the road gave us that much-needed chill time. The friendly chommie at reception made us feel right at home!

Just a heads up, the brekkie was a bit basic, but we managed.
