I checked into this desert motel and was pleasantly surprised by its proximity to the national park. The staff was incredibly friendly, offering advice on exploring the beautiful surroundings. The room itself had a rustic charm, with a polished interior and sealed walls to keep bugs out. Though there was no TV, it only enhanced the feeling of getting away from it all. The AC worked perfectly, keeping the room cool amidst scorching temperatures outside. The clean bathroom came equipped with a lovely basket of toiletries.

I must admit that the wifi was unreliable, with only a faint signal coming from the nearby cafe.

I had a great weekend stay at this motel! the location was perfect, as it was situated just 10 miles inside the Death Valley park and right on the highway. The location, while remote, was still within driving distance of everything I wanted to see, making it feel like a peaceful retreat each night. I highly recommend trying their delicious breakfast with amazing waffles and a buffet setup at a great price. The retro vibe of the cabins and the breathtaking scenery were a bonus, and it was refreshing to see people disconnecting from their phones and engaging with nature.
